How is this an exploitation? People just watch what they want to watch; it’s their choice and they don’t harm anyone.

So what is wrong with it?

Thanks for the explanation. So it was doing the right thing for a completely wrong reason. Nothing new, Nazis do not like racism if it is not their kind of racism.

Is it appropriate to insult ANZAC veterans and the fallen by saying, “You who fought and died for this country do not belong here, but we welcome you?” I do not think so. “Welcome to country” is only appropriate for occasions such as a citizenship ceremony. Even in such cases it is questionable, because the ceremony is rooted in racism and should not exist in a civilized country.

Why anyone would have Welcome To the country on ANZAC dawn service? They are completely unrelated.

We have plenty of uranium but no capacity to enrich it or turn to actual fuel rods. So we do not.

[–] TheHolm@aussie.zone 1 points 4 weeks ago

Because nuclear works, can be build, and fit well to current infrastructure. Renewables can't replace base generation, require non existing production capacity, grid upgrades and etc.

Versity S3 Gateway is Apache‑licensed, backed by a commercial entity. Their contribution agreement forces you to give up copyright to them. It will follow the same path as Minio over time.

Too many people raise dogs like spoiled kids. It leads to so many problems. Dogs aren't kids. They need discipline and proper training.

So, a question to my fellow Australians: what flowers do you plant that don’t get instantly eaten by wildlife? As you can see in the photo, nasturtiums were a bad choice. (And if anyone knows what the non-eaten flowers are called, I’d appreciate it—I’ve misplaced the labels somewhere.)
