So, a question to my fellow Australians: what flowers do you plant that don’t get instantly eaten by wildlife? As you can see in the photo, nasturtiums were a bad choice. (And if anyone knows what the non-eaten flowers are called, I’d appreciate it—I’ve misplaced the labels somewhere.)

I have no idea what those flowers are, but there's a few apps around for identifying plants. I use one called PlantNet and i highly recommend it.

Nasturims are good in green salads :)

Plant perennials, carnations etc or preferably natives

Thanks for advice. These flowers are hydroponic, so natives are no go.

I can't advise you as to flowers that won't get eaten, but the flowers that didn't get eaten look like Dianthus.

Dianthus. Thank you. Definitely it.

Plant garlic, nothing will touch that.
