I've donated more to private trackers than I probably would pay for several years of a streaming service

(a private linux iso tracker, of course)

Well thanks I guess for stopping your involvement in settler colonial propaganda because people were horrified by your views. Hope you mean it.

Idk of this happens in Germany but in the U.S. some landlords, mostly smaller ones, will fold the water bill into the rent. So it is effectively "free" in that you are not charged by the amount you use.

Make soup (from veggies and beans). Eat fruit for your snacks multiple times a day. Always go for whole grains (bread, pasta, rice, etc.). Eliminate cheese entirely (seriously, it is terrible for you). Replace milk with soy milk (doesn't have the saturated fat or sugar). Reduce or eliminate meat consumption. Avoid added sugars when possible.

A good rule of thumb that I find helpful is that the majority of ingredients in all meals should naturally contain non-negligible amounts of fiber. The things you eat should also mostly have plenty of water in them already for bulk and digestion. Dry foods (including oil-based foods) are far too easy to overeat.

These are relatively simple rules that leave tons of options for variety but force you to have a fairly healthy diet. They are easy to implement in a lifelong diet with no need for calorie-counting.

Not an embedded dev. What's the Rust situation in the embedded world? Is it ever used?

The slices aren't in any reasonable order. This even led to this mistake in the article:

C was in use for 76% of the codebase followed by Rust at 10.3% and Vala at 3.77%.

(Python was between Rust and Vala at 4.76% for the library languages)

This makes me wonder what people who live in permanently docked house boats do/are supposed to do with their sewage

Apologies for posting in the home cooking community, but:

All the community subscription forms at https://vegantheoryclub.org/communities redirect to this community! Therefore, unless I'm missing something, no other community on the instance can become federated the normal user-friendly way! I tested this with multiple instance urls and multiple communities.

Edit: If you give a toad a warm water bath, you really need to make sure the water is safe. I had evian bottles for my pet toad, which I came to after testing many water sources for the right hardness, pH, etc. Tapwater often contains chlorine which can be harmful to amphibians and many brands of bottled water are too soft which can cause too much water to osmote into the amphibian's cells. You should also try to avoid touching a toad as your skin oils and any soap residue can be harmful (in this case I thoroughly washed and rinsed my hands before minimally handling the toad). If you find a trapped and dehydrated toad but don't have the right materials to help it out, try bringing it to a nearby damp and shady spot that it is likely already familiar with.
