And there it is.

This isn't really a question, but I'll respond with my experience.

As a kid I had a mother that was incredibly health conscious. She always fed me "alternative" foods with strong flavors. It instilled a hatred for health foods in me, but it also changed my taste buds to have a particular distaste for sweet foods.

I am now in my 30s. I still eat healthy. I don't binge eat. I stay away from overly salty foods. And guess what. My health is still a mess. I get what feels like food poisoning all the time. A lot of foods still make me sick.

At some point you need to realize that eating healthy is not always a solution. Healthy foods do not work for everybody, whether it be a severe dislike of the taste or allergies to the additives that are frequently required to make health food taste good. I have begun thinking it is better to have too many nutrients than not enough. It is better to drink a lot of juice loaded with sugar than it is to be dehydrated.

I would rather live a happy life for 40 years than an unhappy one for 80, especially given the current direction of politics and the fact I am now 50% microplastics.

In the end, you need to find out what works best for you and what makes you the happiest version of yourself.

As you alluded to, the developers will get exactly 0% of the profits from that price hike. Games today are very profitable at $60. The problem is that execs are eating into those profits before pissing the rest down to the developers. There is also a really shitty tech bro culture that many game studios have, decorating their studios with overpriced and expensive tat which should have been spent on employees.

I wouldn't call him the dumbest, but is certainly one of the most evil and manipulative.

You generally go to school to learn. Rejecting people because they aren't good enough is highly antithetical to the purpose of trade schools.

In my experience it has been that the company cares about security but they keep hiring the cheapest contractors from India who know nothing about security and they introduce holes faster than onshore developers can fix them.

Either way, you can point to cost cutting as the underlying root cause.

If auto connecting blueprints means what I think it means it will give me an incentive to actually build large scale. Trains are really important for that and not being able to chain train blueprints together really soured my motivation to scale up.

Everybody processes grief differently. Don't let others tell you how to mourn.

That is what I am hoping/waiting for. I've been looking to switch to an EV for a few years now but have been turned off by the price, lack of physical buttons, and poor battery performance in cheaper models. I am praying the redesigned Leaf will clear all 3.

I am NOT disagreeing with you about either of your statements.

With that said, AI does have a place in animation to ease the burden of animators. A big area for this is the tween frames, but if my understanding is correct they are already using AI for this.

Unfortunately, like we have seen in the video game industry, AI will be used for full replacement instead of as an assistant tool.

I've come to learn that when they say "small government" they don't mean that what the government touches is small and focused. They mean that the size is physically small but have the same, if not more, power than a large government body.

Basically they want fascism and a monarchy.

They'll also have their debt grow threefold and say the economy is doing better than ever.
