Cool. Can we see how many were deleted?

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago

Correct.

As of Jan 2025, X (formerly Twitter) had around 335.7 million users, so how is it possible that data from 2.8 billion users has been leaked? One possible explanation is that the dataset includes aggregated or historical data, such as bot accounts that were created and later banned, inactive or deleted accounts that still lingered in historical records, or old data that was merged with newer data, increasing the total number of records.

He essentially did the same thing with Solar City a decade ago. Although that was "owned" by his cousins and he bailed them out with by buying it for a few billion.

He can't even justify to himself that Twitter is worth the $44 billion he (and investors) paid for it.

My guess? Vance added him so he could look like the adult in a room full of morons.

It's like they learned nothing from the first time he was president.

Why would they warn about it when Gabbard says that it is pre-installed on federal cell phones? Is their Director of Cyber not qualified? Do they need to get Barron Trump in there?

Goldberg mentioned that is what he initially thought it was.

Oy. Gabbard is now trying to claim that it comes pre-installed on government phones. The receipts for that will be interesting if they actually exist.

Not just cell phones but personal cell phones. Signal is blocked on federal cell phones.

One question I do have is why is the Treasury Secretary there?

I do find it a little funny that the delegates clearly were not delegates in some cases since they state the delegates under the cabinet members name but respond occasionally under their own name.

I think Goldberg should release the phone numbers too since that is not classified info.

He actually did get into Yale based on merit and not because his parents were rich. His mom was a nurse and his dad installed Nielson Rating boxes. His statement is idiotic though because when he was a teenager, these protective were in place. Teenagers are already able to work.

A Delaware judge invalidated Elon Musk's $56 billion Tesla pay package for a second time, citing undue influence and unfair terms set by Musk. Despite shareholder approval earlier this year, the court ruled the process failed to address governance concerns and transparency. The judge emphasized the board's failure to prove the compensation plan's fairness, suggesting alternative, reasonable payment options were possible. Tesla may appeal the decision or propose a new compensation plan.
