Just a guess based on "covid" and "candles", a ton of people negatively reviewed candles for not smelling good/right/at all, not realizing they had lost their sense of smell from covid at the time.
I know my spouse had the realization our cold was covid because we couldn't smell the candles we had bought (and smelled) the week before.

Poor duck....
On one hand, I have a coworker who clearly angrily scraped his trump stickers off the tailgate, and on the other, I have a coworker who straight up held a nazi salute with an audible "heil" when he started talking about his favorite band, Rammstein.
Now I don't know anything about Rammstein and their political views in general, but I've known a few Germans in my time and they all held very strong (negative) views on the nazi regime.
Most coworkers have stopped talking about politics and such in general during breaks though.
Depends on how many you eat...

You know... Over the scream/whine of the vacuum.
Let people have their harmless fun. This hurts no one.
I have never heard anyone say they don't like The Mummy.
The people I have introduced to it have all loved it, and only two people have commented on the CG looking a little dated.
And for some it was their "oh I might be bi" moment.
10/10 movie, any time I see references to it I have to re-watch the movie.
This reeks of "other people have it worse so stop feeling bad for yourself" energy.
Congrats on being on par with my narcissist in-laws.
