They're already pushing voter restriction laws to keep the deck stacked in their favor. Russia still has elections too just to keep the appearance of legitimacy, but we all know how fair and honest those are. Team trump will keep the grift going to keep things looking like everything is fair and the voters chose him.

There will still be an election. Only white republican christian men will be allowed to vote though.

One thing I've learned from the experience is to pick up a water pump and keep it handy for the future. When the houses were burning and my trees caught on fire I couldn't do much at all to stop anything because there was no water pressure... I guess because the fire dept was using it all supplying all the trucks.

We could deal with the stuff on the ground, but couldn't get enough pressure to shoot up into the trees so they had to divert a pumper truck to help. Once they got the upper parts managed we could take down the rest. A good pump would have helped a lot.

Thanks, that put a smile on my face this morning! A cheap assed drone wiping out a hundred million dollar plane has got to sting a little.

I know I'm not safe, from Last year when a nearby house caught fire. It lit up in a windstorm which partially destroyed that house, completely destroyed the house next door, and lit multiple fires in the area, my trees included. Me and several other people spent the next 6 hours running around putting out little flare ups in the neighborhood while the firefighters tackled the two houses. My daughter lives on the other side of town and she said all she could see outside was embers carried by the wind everywhere.

Really pushed home how easily things can go south in a heartbeat. The saving grace that there wasn't much MUCH more damage was the fact it had been drizzling all day so everything was wet and harder than usual to ignite. If it wasn't for the rain I know my house would be gone, and quite a few others around here too.

For sure, but it's still nice to actually have the data to back it up.

I'd prefer he be launched... by ACME.

Used car lot salesman. Spokesman for a spray paint company. Padded underwear model.

That would deserve a holiday akin to the 4th.

That's my problem. I have a lot of stray cats around me, so I buy a lot of cat food.

Locally an 8kg bag is $32.

If I drive 60km round trip to walmart, that same bag is $25.

Amazon with free shipping, that bag is $22.

Not a huge difference but I don't have a lot of money and it adds up fast, especially since I buy 5-6 bags a month. ($10 savings on a bag X 5 is $50 a month, or $600 a year.)

Edit: A few of the rodents (I spilled treats on the floor and they were kind enough to help clean up the mess.)

I tried looking around a little and it sounds really scammy to me. All the contact info and domain registrars is listed "redacted for privacy." Personally the whole thing seems to smell funny to me but I could be wrong. Anyone used or heard of this site before? I just want to make sure my daughter isn't going to get screwed over

In the background of the one pic you can see one of the abandoned schoolhouses in the distance.

I didn't get a closer pic of this one sadly because a)Bees and b) I got distracted by the old Fargo that's directly behind me in this pic.

Well that was unexpected. Rip Matthew

Rip Bull.

I saw the String cheese post so I thought I'd share my own "slightly beyond best before date" consumable. I used to have two of them that I had found in my attic under some insulation, but the other one froze in my garage and broke open. (No, it did NOT smell pleasant. I'm pretty sure whatever vile liquid is in that thing does not resemble beer in any way, shape, or form.)

It's perched on a flashlight to try and show the sediment that's built up on the bottom of the bottle.

My daughter found her alone on the side of a gravel road yesterday morning and brought her to my house. We think she's about 6 weeks old. I had to edit the post title three times because she keeps stepping on the keyboard to attack and viciously lick my fingers.
