๐ช๐ช๐ช๐ช```Having 50mil+ households install and run a/c (they won't save it for just the heatwaves, not to mention production, delivery, installation factors), will kick out a fuck tonne more carbon & result in those hotter weeks being hotter and longer even sooner....soooo...are we meant to doom ourselves?! Then there's the issue of increased crop failures, droughts & wildfires etc. all adding to the cost of living.
How should we plan for all that? And the rest - more & heavier flooding etc.

Good point, if I start growing some tea plants now, I'll be able to pick the leaves fresh in a few years time once they've gotten big enough. I should be able to get a good enough harvest by then for a couple of pots!
I'll let you know when it's done and we can enjoy a cuppa and admire it together :) I shan't put the kettle on just yet though...

We've been 'building' a high speed rail route here in the UK for over a decade now. It'll probably not be finished for another 10 years, isn't going to reach as many cities as first planned, will probably cost as much as m**k is worth by the end, tickets will likeky cost you three legs and you'll no doubt always arrive at your destination late!

Exactly my thought on seeing it. It's like the illusion in underwater caves where fresh & saltwater meet, but kinda backwards!
