The act of talking around a mouthful of hot food.

It isn't a terrible recommendation if you have good form and are comfortable with the lift. Deadlift hits pretty much the whole back when it's done right, but it can also be done wrong in quite a lot of ways.

Even with deadlift, I would probably still add isolation lifts targeting the areas you want to see improvement on.

My normal routine is to combine chest back and core into one routine. I alternate that with my leg routine and accessories (mostly arms and shoulders) routine. That lets me hit each twice a week with one day off, but a lot of that is also going to depend on your personal recovery speed.

Since it's something you would like to focus on I would recommend hitting the area 2-3 times a week if your recovery time allows.

Face pulls, bent over rows, back extensions, good mornings, and inclined dumbell shrugs.

You want to focus on strengthening the muscles up and down the spine.

Without trying to sound too metaphysical. I look at it this way. The atoms that make up my body were forged in the hearts of stars. These atoms have existed in some form across the universe for billions of years.

I don't remember what patterns my atoms were before they became this one, and I don't know what pattern these atoms will take once I am done with them, but these atoms will remain.

This consciousness that has arisen from this pattern of atoms may give way to a different consciousness in a different pattern of atoms in some untold amount of time. While this consciousness may not know of that one, and that one may not remember this, it eases my mind to know that the stardust that originated these atoms will still exist.

It eases my mind to know that in the infinite void of nothingness, this pattern of atoms and this consciousness have impacted those around me. The short period of time that this consciousness is around gives me the opportunity to experience the wonderful breadth of the human condition, because this will be the only time these atoms are in this exact pattern. Every moment of my existence I am unique.

I am of the universe, I have experienced the universe, and others have experienced the universe through me.

Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and Footloose are probably my favorites of all time. It's really hard to find soundtracks with a better collection of absolutely amazing songs imo.

In 2011 there was an episode of Curiosity on the Discovery Channel that had Trump narrating a dollar amount of what selling every scrap of the U.S. would be worth.

You can bet that is the absolute goal.

I seriously overestimated how much R19 I needed for the basement ceiling, so I have been using it in the walls as well. The additional sound deadening on the furnace is a brilliant idea though.

I think so, but as with most projects there are always little imperfections that probably stand out more to me than to others

Finally had a free day not occupied by other chores, so I built another wall in the basement. That brings me to about 50% of the way through a finished basement.

Ordered it a couple of weeks ago and just got it yesterday. Taking it down the hill later to split some rounds for the wood shed.

It's been a long time since I have sailed the seas, so I was hoping someone could point me to a tracker that maybe specializes in books. Preferably one that isn't terribly difficult to join / maintain a decent ratio on.

After 4 years, 16 days, and 14 levels, the party finally defeated my final villain. They successfully prevented the return of the exiled gods and earned the highest honor in the land.

I am an extremely tired GM. Time to take a few weeks off, then start planning the next campaign.

Figured I would get prepped for the big storms coming, so I walked out to the woodshed and carried a couple of chords up to the house for the wood stove.
