I think the 14" has thin bezels so its basically the size of a 13" but with a larger screen real estate.

A reminder that Radio Free Anything is literally CIA propaganda.

I would support them coming back in the Union

Same, as long as there are exactly zero exceptions for them this time. And they must adopt the Euro from day one.

Why are you guys so obsessed with the latest packages? A lot of new stuff doesn't work on older PCs which is also Linux's target market.

I don't know the details, but I hope they will at least remove the VPN and crypto wallet integrations from the default installed version.

You still have to double check for mistakes. But even that takes less time than writing a 3-4 sentences semi-formal email from scratch.

In any case, your emails aren't safe either, mate. Even if you don't use AI, the person on the other side most likely will and your emails will be scanned just the same. Nobody is safe. Which is why this Thunderbird feature doesn't excite me in the least.

We probably never sent as many emails as we do today, and there are bigger priorities. Wanna blame someone, blame the overly pompous corporate world.

Good to see this topic come up. Been using Linux mint for about a month and I can say i don't miss windows at all.

Also consider Tuxedo computers, linux focused and HQ'd in Germany.

I had this talk with someone I barely know about Trump.

She said he must know he's never gonna be remembered as an exceptional president, so instead he is trying to just be remembered, doesn't matter if for good or bad.

I think that makes so much sense.

No, we were neutral.

Dude, I use a lot of FOSS software including Linux as a daily driver. I know what you are talking about. But we're in BuyFromEU, so you shouldn't be surprised my opinions reflect that.

Personally, between supporting a Organic Maps and Here WeGo I prefer the option that will make Europe richer. Especially now that the fascists overseas have decided Europe should be up for grabs by Russia and we need to up our defense.

You can LARP "outside of capitalism" all you want but there's still a reality here that needs to be addressed.

Disable DMs? (lemm.ee)

Is there a way to disable DMs? I keep being spammed by users from an instance called sh.itjust.works promoting some weird out-of-platform personal profiles.

They usually send this stuff and then immediately seem to get banned, but I still see their stuff since images are displayed by default. Seems like a big oversight to allow this.

Is there a way to block receiving DMs? Or at least have some sort of Accept/Decline dm feature like on Reddit?

Pretty please. I got used to using it on the other platform that shall not be named, and now I can't live without it.

It's free, helps low vision readers and can be downloaded directly from the Braile Institute.
