I'm not familiar with things like this happening on Lemmy of yet, but I imagine we have this kind of assholes over here as well.

I remember when web search used to be shitty. Then it got quite good. And now it's shitty again. I know why, because when you have to search multiple times, they get to serve you ads multiple times. But it used to be good where it tried to add similar search terms (like pants also searching for trousers) in the background so you'd find what it thought you were looking for.

Let's take this to therapy court.

The real truth is cost. To be able to afford to have this built, would cost a lot more than it did back then. Cost of living has become so high and you have to pay construction workers a living wage.
