Win or lose, Kirby's moustache is garbage so at least we win that battle.

That was a fun tune, thanks for sharing!
Those losses are on me, I was at the bar instead of home, mind bogglingly high and on the fediverse. I will remedy my ways for the good of the team/nation.
Be ready for very dumb questions/observations/things that I alone find funny.
Sorry in advance.
I was about to disagree as the last couple of women I've gone home with I've met at the bar.
Then I remembered that "oh yeah, those were one night stands, not coupling. Last couple of relationships definitely started on the apps."
BUT, I will say that at least three couples (one has recently graduated to marriage!) on my various soccer teams met on the team or through team friends. So there's still sort of hope!
OOOOH, that makes sense! If he were the #1 and played #2, he'd only pitch once in a Jays sweep etc.
Thanks!
I'm still surprised I'm stoked on and have made plans to watch another baseball game, but heck yeah!
As someone who doesn't watch much beyond highlights, I'm curious, does Gilbert having pitched 30ish pitches on Saturday really change anything? I
The commentators on Friday were talking like it would but it seems like he pitched about a third of a game, so couldn't he just move back in the rotation? Or am I missing something obvious?
Oh, my apologies, I didn't meant to jump off the top ropes to defend pop culture etc. And absolutely, all sorts of routes to cool.
That being said, I'm a middle age man and am thus by classic definition, the anti cool.
Believe me, I have an over abundance of confidence, I know I'm cool in all the things that matter. But I also know that my time at the cultural forefront (whether your culture is pop, punk, underground, whatever) has passed, that's off to the next generation.
I think of it like, while I still go to some of the larger underground events, I'm not one of the tastemakers that some of my friends were in our youth etc and I damn well won't have heard of any of the bands but on the other hand, I am at the point where I can help out by buying all the merch.
I mean, you could make a credible argument for either but I'm pretty sure Republicans would whine regardless (she was pretty outspoken about how voting trump was a bad idea leading to his comically petulant "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT" tweet.)
Her being allied to Trump does not bode well for the regime after Maduro, though
They have to get to the post Maduro stage first.
I think it's like Ukraine, yeah, it'd be better if you didn't have to rely on the States but to whom else can she turn?
If Venezuelans handle it, great and her praising trump costs nothing. If trump helps, there'll be strings but it'll almost certainly be better than Maduro.
I think she's opportunistic and will praise whomever will help get rid of Maduro.
Sadly, US intervention is probably one of Venezuela's best hopes at regime change and trump is childish enoughed to be influenced by petty praise.
To each their own. I definitely used to just listen to my own punk shit and disdain pop but the older I get, the more I see value in something fun with a catchy beat that a lot of people can dance and sing to at once. The classic tunes I dig were also pop once before they became old people tunes.
It's like anything, if all you listen to is pop, that's probably not great but if you refuse to listen to any, you're probably missing out.
Gimenez took that to heart!
