Okay so I don't know if you're into birdwatching at at all but that's about the top speed of a peregrine falcon. Have you ever seen a bird of prey dive to attack?

That's also about the stalling speed of a passenger airplane, that is, the minimum speed it must fly at before losing lift.

I couldn't think of anything else that goes at around 300kmh but if I get new ideas I'll let you know.

Yeah it's just extortion. They know you can't go anywhere so they set those ridiculous prices and get away with it

I don't even understand what's supposed to be generated here

Everyone here talking about second somethings. All I want to say is this is the baby with the most developed jaw, nose and brow that I've ever seen in my life.

Things really were different during our parents' times.

This is the only way in English I've ever known

Airport prices are on a whole other level

This thing can't replicate a house. I know, I know I fit inside a cubic metre but having a house that size is a bit restrictive. I was hoping for something more spacious.

Indeed, your proposed dichotomy is perfectly logical and I agree with that.

My point is that OP already stated it's hard to tell the difference. That's precisely why they made the post in the first place. So why are you asking all these questions about whether or not it is easy to tell apart or not? You already had your answer from the beginning.

Now, if OP had contradicted themselves at any point, saying for example "ai slop is so unlike human mediocre art, you can totally see the soul in art" or " AI can't do anything similar to fine art" and then immediately asked "but how can you guys tell apart because it's so difficult" then your reply would have made sense.

I hope that makes it clear.

This is not a one size fits all situation. No pun intended

Wouldn't it be more effective if they didn't capture you at all? Just send the agent to woo you over and get your info first

You're barking your sarcasm up the wrong tree

Sorry. I'm not a man, so perhaps I shouldn't be commenting here. Have you considered asking this question to women online? You might get some insight from women's perspective too.

:( fuck it

A few minutes ago two accounts on lemmy.ml started spamming pretty much every community on the instance with some crypto mining trash.

Moderators also noticed because all those posts are gone now, good job btw. Then I remembered, wait, doesn't .ml have an application process to filter spam and bots? Out of curiosity, I went to have a look at the users profiles and both accounts were about two years old, with no activity.

Are these hacked accounts? Is that an easy thing to do? And how can one prevent it from happening?

Was considering to get a grid mat, large- at least A2 or so - of those you can write and erase. After searching online I found few options, and they're a bit pricey.

Any recommendations? I don't need anything fancy. Just a large laminated grid that can be rolled up. Thanks

So I've been working in retail for a while and seen my share of odd and rude customers, but today I had my very first "Karen", and he was american also. (I'm not, and I'm in Australia).

The store I work for doesn't give their bags for free, we charge for them. This guy picked an online order and then threw up a tantrum and demanded to speak to a manager when I refused to give him a bag for free. Another team member (more experienced) just gave him the bag and he just left.

That does it I guess, but it's giving in to rude demands what sustains this kind of behavior imo. I'm not trying to protect the interests of the corporate I work for- it's just a stupid bag ffs, perhaps ask nicely? I've been called off both for giving away bags for free before as well as calling for the manager to deal with "minor issues".

So I'm asking, in general, how do you deal with these types of customers?

Clearly I haven't shot anything irl ever and don't know much about weapons either. Oh and relax, I'm not planning on shooting anyone.

Question comes after videogames, which can sometimes have both weapon types used interchangeably and/or behaving in a similar way.

I would personally believe guns are easier, and that the only advantage a bow would ever have is that they're not as noisy. But I hear people say aiming with a bow is easier. I guess the type of bow and gun used would also weigh on the matter?

Crosspost... Well I can't crosspost apparently, my apologies

You guys did great with your Christmas predictions last time so I'm counting on your help

In any way you know of. I find people here are more aware of politics and ethics behind big companies and this is what prompted my question but I'm also curious about any other differences.

I'm in Australia and I've only used Ebay and AliExpress so far. I find AliExpress has more variety and somewhat cheaper prices but I don't know why or anything else.

When I first heard about Temu it was always in relation to dodgy products and sex toys so I didn't pay much attention to it, however lately I keep hearing about people buying regular stuff without issues. Never tried it myself though.

Please help so I can do my groceries properly in advance, thanks

So I accidentally turned backup on with my butt or something the other day, and Google Photos decided it was fine to upload to the cloud all my photos which I keep locally on my device.

I don't need or want cloud backup, thanks very much, and I didn't enjoy having to research how to delete all the images from the cloud while keeping them in my device, and enjoyed even less then doing all of that manually.

Zero out of five stars, I did not enjoy and would not recommend.

Now, can you recommend a free app that lets me browse and manage my own personal local collection of images? My preference is for something with an intuitive, easy to use interface. What are y'all lemmings using?
