I don’t know how much French like their president, but his recent efforts to reunite the EU and engagement in international affairs are at least admirable. I’m fine if it this in the end means billions for France’s military industry - hard to disagree with him…

Guy sounds bought. He’s claiming the progress has stopped and solution will never be found. That’s not what history teaches us.

This time one right side of the history. Let’s hope.

I was a Debian guy for years now. Running on all my servers and virtual machines, but never got to be satisfied with it enough to “format Windows” out of my main computer. Until one day I discovered Aurora and relatives. That’s it, that’s the endgame for me. Literally everything works out of the box including support for legacy Nvidia cards, g-sync, scaling etc. and I can fully understand and like their design decisions (hell, with brew it will be just like having a Mac). I’m done with Windows before this year ends.

And Sailfish OS by history of its development is a direct descendant of the Nokia N9 legacy! They say directly on the Jolla about page that they continue what Nokia left, and I’ve heard some of their developers were OG Nokia Meego devs.

Go open the link posted by @sunshine , it’s all there!

Your last two paragraphs summarized it all perfectly: majority of us had become sheeple who are happy to give up their rights and free will to live a comfortable life and let someone else decide for them. The only resistance they show is by posting on social media - getting up and actually doing something for a better good is too difficult. Including doing their own goddamn coffee! Even buying an automatic coffee machine is paying for itself at this rate in less than half a year! And the same majority decides about our future in elections!

You do know, that Poland has been recorded to perform pushbacks on its borders?

Yes, I live here.

And now you can guess why people dont want to enter the country through official ways.

No, I don’t, it has nothing to do with pushbacks. Pushbacks were for those who were trying to cross the border illegally in the first place.

Also a lot of refugees dont want to seek asylum in Poland, but in other EU countries so entering through official ways might be suboptimal for them.

Suboptimal?! You know what, tell me your address. I will steal your car because earning money to buy myself my own is suboptimal for me. And maybe we also should provide free healthcare to poor Americans in Europe because them paying for their own is suboptimal for them.

Crossing a border of any EU country is synonymous with entering EU as a whole. Polish border is EU border.

disregards the situation those refugees

They have chosen to enter Belarus or Russia, they were given protection on Russian and Belarusian territory already, why not stay there if this is only about survival? They are no longer refugees when entering Poland, they are migrants and as such are no longer protected under the same rules. And this is what you are describing, choosing a destination country not to escape harm in the first place but to seek one with better social benefits. In this scenario I see no reason for them to forcefully enter EU illegally without following our laws: again, they were already allowed to enter Russian and/or Belarusian territory and have escaped the immediate threat if they really are refugees.

Now, if we talk about Ukrainian refugees, I did not hear any of them complaining about pushbacks or being deported or about mines being deployed on our border. You know why? Because they are civilized people who know how to behave and how to properly cross a border.

And we provided help for almost a million of them.

Real refugees who try to come into the EU are welcomed to enter through designated border crossings.

Website idea. Join together people who, for a small fee, are willing to ship parcels full of treats to the other side of the globe with people craving such treats. Example: I know guys in Japan who would kill for a box of Paluszki made by Lajkonik. Here we have Canadians craving Knoppers. Etc.

Border crossings are still open, not mined.
