56% over voters in the 2024 election voted Tory or Reform.

I'd argue that PR actually favours the right in the UK.

I'm running a Define 7 XL as a Truenas server. Over 100TB of storage, maximum utility and my wife likes how it looks. It does everything, even the cooling is decent.

I'll only buy Fractal Design cases.

Does retirement planning count as "Thinking of quitting work?"

We still have some chemical weapons from Russia in Salisbury. Where do they want them returned?

The bigger problem, and this isn't in the mainstream news yet, is that all integrated care boards have been told to reduce head count by 50% in December. I just got off an all hands briefing earlier today.

It's probably good, except there will be no quality oversight and private providers will be able to run riot, as there will be no one there check they are doing what they are paid to do.

Given that the other HDD manufacturers lack the tools to even identify the fraud (FARM), but Seagate drives do, this is actually a reason to buy Seagate.

Ok, stupid question from a stupid person: if I have a phone connected to a local WiFi network, and I type in the URL of a subdomain which points make to that same network ie a hosted service on a home server, what route does the data take from the service back to my phone?

I'm unconvinced this will lead to a reduction in price of other HDD from a cost per terabyte perspective.

I mean, who needs this amount of storage that isn't a business?

Some smaller systems can payback in as little as two years. Larger systems should still pay back in less than 10.

Pretty sure truenas scale can host everything you want so you might only want one server. Use Epyc for the pcie lanes, and a fractal design r7 XL and you could even escape needing a rack mount if you wanted. Use a pcie to m.2 adapter and you could easily host apps on them on a mirrored pool and use a special vdev to speed up the HDD storage pool

The role of the proxmox server would essentially be filled by apps and/or VM you could turn on or off as needed.

I just got a Kona last month. Top of the range so not sure what is an option on other models.

No idea about fast charging as only use it for 60 mile runs, 120 there and back. Charging at home is trivial, but the charge port is at the front so either buy a longer cable or get ysed to reversing out of the charging bay (I have to reverse onto a relatively busy road, I do wish the charging port was at the back.

Easiest car I've ever had to drive. The one pedal driving took about a week to adjust to. The speed limiter is perfectly placed, buttons for most things but the touch screen is actually decent, unlike every other car I've seen them in.

However it beeps alot. There is a camera on the steering wheel which beeps if you aren't paying attention to the road, like when you look at the blind spot or check to come off a roundabout. It beeps I'd you go 2 miles over the speed limit. It beeps if you have something in the back seat and the seat belt isn't plugged in. Mostly I can't complain about these, they are legit safety features.

Boot space isn't huge eg for air port runs but if there are two and a kid the cars fine. Can take a weeks shopping. Space under the boot and in the front for a few things ie emergency supplies and spare clothes.

There was a 0% APR offer when I got mine. Between that and electric tariffs the net monthly cost is lower than any other vehicle I could have bought.

In the UK they are selling really fast and I van see why. If the furthest round trip one does is 150 miles in winter there aren't really any major drawbacks. But residuals are likely bad so be prepared to either take a hit or hand it back at the end of the pcp IMO.
