Maybe. I doubt this artist would up for it though. Even violence depicted is clearly done in a mental fantasy type of way. My guess is they want a functional and fair and peaceful society. Like many of us they are seeing a situation that may not allow for that but don't want to take those steps if it can be avoided. I mean they may not have a take like this but its what I get from the few decades of the comic.

I want socialism and capitalism balanced. things that everyone needs should be available to everyone and not left to the market but unnecessary things like media and toys and whatnot the government should not be concerned about. Then there should be plenty of regulation to keep things safe. but when it comes down to democracy vs autocracy I want as much democracy as possible.

So I have went through the thought experiment of what would have been a good move before the great depression and there is just no good answer. Here is the thing. Any move from the market is only good in a worst case scenario when you don't have much time to recover. Then everyone has expenses. The sopranos monthly nut. Want to not lose your house. Need to replace your car. Your going to need money and if its in gold you will need to sell it to folks that have money. Real estate is great for long term value but it costs money, so adds to your monthly nut, every month. If its not actively doing something for you its a net loss. Downturns are to some degree about surviving the downturn so unless you actually have a fair amount of extra money to the point of being able to handle cost after cost after cost, otherwise there just is not much that is going to matter as you will need to use your resources to get by.

They should be more worried about trump making being a congressman or judge a powerless position. There are so many executive actions going against law and it keeps increasing.

The way she has drawn it has changed but I think its the batman logo. I feel like it was mentioned at some point before she met her husband but the strip goes for like over two decades so im not 100% if it did or if im hallucinating it.

I agree whole hardheadedly. Felt like my last company was like that which was funny because they were also ultra paranoid with security which seemed like a conflicting thing.

Historical context is not merely opinion. It boggles my mind that you can use the phrase objective news given whats currently considered news compared to historic context that being further from spin and given verification time is has solid facts.
