Just make sure they read it well, not just cherry picking. Nothing makes you atheist faster than actually reading the bible.

The whole talking point of republicans being "states to allowed to govern themself" only applies to red states. Hippocratic beyond beliefs.

This is incredibly stupid, anyone working with LLM's should understand that even if there would be tool to send the verification email and check it, it will fail certain amounts of time. Password reset is not a feature that should sometimes just let you in, that needs to be exact.

For most of Europe it has cost already 8 dollars per gallon for ever. Gas prices in US have always been insanely cheap. In whole Europe just the tax on gasoline has been the retail price of us gasoline.

Due to paywall unfortunately not able to read the article. As someone who works with energy production, having "waste heat of 23 atom bombs a day" is incredible stupid and practically misinformation way of describing the energy amount.

I assume that they used that 9GW as heat energy output, which would be 24h x 9GWh in a day. That is in a day same amount of 23 x 1 kiloton nuke. But even these are same units, they really aren't comparable. Another is milliseconds, another is full day.

Yes, venting that amount of energy to waste is insanely stupid, because it should be used to something useful. That amount of heat could be used to heat cities in colder climates (northern US states/Canada/northern Europe etc).

Unfortunately US/Canada doesn't do district heating networks like we do here in Nordics. You distribute gas to homes, we distribute hot water. That hot water can be directly taken from any waste heat source.

Microsoft's new Espoo data center is going to heat up 60% of one of the largest cities in Finland. This is the only way these data centers make any sense to build. Other ways to do it is just financially and ecologically stupid.

Well fediverse and ActivityPub protocol do basically already that in a sense. We just need more users to migrate from the old Internet to these services build on top of the tech which cannot be controlled by the mega corporations. Old Internet is basically three companies in a trench coat.

Fighter jets are basically rocks that have huge jet engines strapped on to them, if it has propulsion, it stays on the air. But if it loses engines, it drops like a stone.

I have been doing electrical work on converting two different banks to two different restaurants.

Oh boy, getting a new cable inside the vault, quite a job.

On other there was door drawn in the plans from kitchen to office. The workers started doing carving the wall in nice door shape. After 20cm (8 inches), they took longest drill they had onsite, and tested how far they needed to still go. It didn't come through the other side. After 20 years today, there is door shape 20cm incline in the kitchen.
