I used to work for HHGregg selling appliances. I didn’t want to work there, but needed a job and was pretty good at it. We were pushed pretty hard to hit our numbers, including selling the extended warranties. About three months in the sales manager was taking each sales person into the office to have us agree to how we would sell these warranties, which included some using some misleading tactics and language, to the extent that it was outright false. I told them that I refused to lie to customers, and they said anyone that didn’t sign their name to the new program could not continue to work. So I walked out. First and only time I’ve had to do that, and now HHGregg is out of business. Fuck that place.

Believe it or not, you can say anal on the internet.

A little late but here it is. I think I under-proofed on this one. I’ll know for next time.

I still need to work on my scoring, but I’m happy with the look otherwise.

This wouldn’t happen to be Frankfort, would it? There’s a Cove Spring park there that looks very similar. I used to take my dogs there for a quick swim.

At first glance this looks really cool. Strong Witcher vibes. You could tell it’s the same director even without having out called out in the trailer. I’m looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

While it’s concerning that this even made my top 5, the fact that I’m the in top 0.01% of listeners for this song makes me want to reconsider some of my life choices.

Nine sili nebesniye, Alexander Sheremetiev.

Certainly not perfect but I’m getting better. Left was on a baking sheet, and the right was in a Dutch oven.

Zone 7a, Kentucky USA. I read about over-wintering peppers and tried it out last year, but sadly none of them survived. I pruned them appropriately, and kept them in my garage with infrequent watering once temperatures started getting into the 40s at night. We had wild temperature fluctuations (high 60s F during the day and low 30s F at night) and I’m not sure if that hindered the process.

I would love to try again this year, but I’m wondering what others’ experiences are.

This is the right answer. The fan should be easy enough to fix since it’s held in with a clip, and a quick search for that fan shows they’re less than $20 in the US.

Can you start anything inside?

Our first planting day was moved up by two weeks in Kentucky. We were zone 6A but are now 7B.

I haven’t heard of having to renew mortgage interest rates. A fixed interest rate should be good for the life of the loan.

I’m at 2.875% on a 25-year loan. I never plan on moving.

For context, I’m on an iPhone using Firefox. I can’t use uBlock Origin, but am ready to block on the DNS level after this.
