Certainly is average Texan voter. They vote for this.

(Although they’ve mostly been indoctrinated from a young age so the blame is more on the corpocratic state elite than the population).

In a couple decades it’ll be parking lots and highways with no city left.

(Seriously tho those wide urban highways split up a city as much as a river does. It looks like the Hudson in NYC with those massive bridges).

For sure. Or added the crossing where you have to wait for lights. It’s a small road, it should just be a crosswalk with pedestrian priority and a low speed limit. Not a car priority traffic light crossing.

ML isn’t “far left” it leans leftist, but that isn’t what’s scary about it.

ML is hyper authoritarian (support China, North Korea, Russia to varying degrees).

This is due to them being extremely Campist. Campist meaning they’ll support anyone who “opposes” US influence, no matter how horrible they are.

In my opinion true leftists shouldn’t be supporting American OR Russian/Chinese Imperialism. If you’re anti imperialist, it means being against all imperialism, not just one side’s imperialism.

Staten Island is the most conservative NYC borough isn’t it? Honestly not that suprising probably happened as backlash to congestion pricing.

(Not that the Ukranian state is any good. But Russia’s is decently more authoritarian and heirarchical.)
