Sleep's the only thing stopping you from working 24 hours?

But then how do I know my next life won't just ruin it all? I could be born into such a different culture that I wouldn't even be aware of my actions and consequence.

I'm quite new to Buddhism so apologies if my question is silly.

As opposed to having a local copy of the data on your phone.

Heated debate

That's not an answer

Nah. I know some people like that (my brother, me) and it's not just age. My other siblings at the same age were different, and me and my brother carry it through all the 20s

Repositories, once set to public and later to private, still accessible through Copilot.

You can say the same about the Wayback machine. Pretty much its use

Let's say I have an unupdated patch and my server is now vulnerable.

This could really happen. I have work and life to worry about and I might not notice.

This vulnerability, could be in the BW instance itself (say the web server or the backend itself), or in the server itself (say an old OpenSSH version), or another service (NextCloud instance hosted in the same server under a different subdomain).

So, first we see it's a big attack surface. In any of those entrances an attacker could gain access to my server and with it the vault. It's a short way from there to install a keylogger on the website where BW is hosted, and get my master password ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Now take into consideration that I just sat a couple of minutes to think about this, and I'm not a professional in cyber security or web security. Neither blue nor red team. A professional, with more knowledge, time, experience and resources, could probably bring up much more things.

That's a good point.

Notice, your server is less likely to be targeted. But much more likely to receive a breach once it's targeted.

It's helpful to analog. You got gold. Thieves are more likely to target a bank, but if they'll know of some gold in your house, it'll be much easier for them to take it from your house rather than from the bank.

And now you have to work and make sure people don't find out about the gold in your house. Because once they did it's game over.

It's a funny subject too. Maybe try bringing it up as a half joke and be like "OK but now fr what am I supposed to do??"

I've searched the internet a bit, but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I saw Leon, but it doesn't have an android client, for example.

Is there good assistances, that you can self host and use on your phone? and that can perform actions like make a phone call, play music, send WhatsApp etc?

I'm not a big user of these, but recently I used Google Assistant and found it was very convenient in my case. So ofc I wanted the benefit without all the spying.

Would ideally look for something that I can self host on my VPS (oracle cloud) and run a client on Android.

thanks!

Hi all, I'd like to hear some suggestions on self hosting LLMs on a remote server, and accessing said LLM via a client app or a convenient website. Either hear about your setups or products you got good impression on.

I've hosted Ollama before but I don't think it's intented for remote use. On the other hand I'm not really an expert and maybe there's other things to do like add-ons.

Thanks in advance!

So I'm using a lot the option to chat myself in apps like WhatsApp or Telegram. But I don't wanna put my trust in them.

I tried about using NextCloud (I have an instance) Talk, but I'm not satisfied: the app won't load if I have no internet connection.

What I am actually looking for:

  • something with cross client sync that sync is ideally on my server
  • simple to use like sending message to self but with good search options, maybe even tagging
  • ability to send images, files etc
  • caches offline on clients

thanks.

P.S. wasn't really sure what tag to use here. Help seems like I'd use when I have an issue with an existing project. but I'm looking for a new one so I used this.

thanks!
