How does it compare to /e/OS?
Will apps all support touchscreen though? Is navigating efficient and fast?
I was considering it but was afraid it would be slow
Does it still seem okay?
alright, but still, google play services having access to my location at all time and being able to leak my IP and stuff is annoying to me
It does not but I would prefer as I want to use some FOSS apps and there are a lot on Android, and Android/iOS are easy to navigate and relatively efficient. What else would you recommend?
that's bad news indeed

I didn't want it, but after looking at the market, I realize it's not that bad for the price range and for my requirements. It might sadly be the only final answer
I'm also considering the Xiaomi Pad 5 with /e/OS
