But they’re optional and not installed by default, and runs sandboxed as a default app for which I can disable permissions

It doesn’t directly disable the tracking from the services sadly, but at least it’s pretty painless and is compatible with many apps

It’s neither. It’s a design flaw. They’re not designed to be able to handle this type of situation correctly
