Trump had threatened a 200 percent tariff on EU alcoholic drinks if bourbon had been hit.

Elect me president in 2028, and I'll pardon this guy.

Auto industry. They're so dependent on foreign parts. Every company I know has spent the last 15 years trying to develop "low cost countries" to source parts. We're talking hundreds of tier-1 companies and thousands of tier-2 companies. These suppliers aren't able to shift fast enough back to US production.

Once NAFTA was signed, all the US OEMs expanded into Canada and Mexico. And a lot of Japanese automakers expanded into the US to create a market for expensive Japanese parts. Massive tax increases are going to stop that cross-border flow. Not only will the tariffs increase prices, but production is going to slow to a trickle, increasing prices even more.

What is the glass instrument sitting in front of her? Perhaps she has dry-mouth?

Has anybody contacted George Brown University, particularly the Dean of the health sciences department? If "Nicole" actually exists, and someone is using her images without her knowledge, this seems like the quickest way to let someone know it's happening.

Entire galaxies consisting of Boltzmann brains. I would never have imagined, were I not one myself.

In 50 years, history will speak about ICE the way we speak about the SS now.

“I get it that it makes people feel good to see people yelling,” Slotkin said. “But not one of those words is stopping the actual things that Donald Trump is doing.”

Perhaps it's not working because of people like Slotkin willing to continue the losing strategies of the past.

TJ Day liked riding his bike to and from work at Walgreens. It helped him stay fit and gave him time to wind down in the evening.

He wore a reflective vest, helmet and added lights to the front and back of his bike for safety. He did everything right, said his sister Kelli Day.

Still, TJ was hit by a car on his way home from work on Feb. 18.

Another driver who found him in a snowbank on Lovers Lane near Stryker Way after the hit-and-run. That driver stayed in contact, and later offered to buy TJ a new bike. But in the meantime, supporters of TJ had already raised more than $20,000 to buy him a car.

As of Thursday, March 6, a GoFundMe Kelli organized has raised $23,427, with a goal of $28,000.

TJ has always been apprehensive about driving, but now he’s more nervous of biking, Kelli said. The generosity of his community will help him get a safe and reliable car.

I can't think of any. The current oil reserve is supposed to be used in the case of another oil embargo. But its actual use is to lower gas prices when the administration in power needs a political win.

I actually think the purpose of a Bitcoin reserve is to temporarily increase the price so tech-bros (re: Elon) can sell at a massive profit. Then buy back at a much lower price. It's just a way to indirectly transfer federal dollars into administration pockets.

I can't find any reason for the government to buy crypto and hold it in reserve.

Remember when Donald Trump was president, in the lobotomized body of Bill the Cat? Haha good times.
