Hey, I believe Sony has some open earbuds that you touch your face instead of the bud to do stuff. Maybe take a look?

What's your phone?

Kinda like boost does, when there is a new comment on a post I've already seen, the comment is colored. Can you do something like that?

Yes, I agree, I also don't like this at all. maybe just add a comment button to move to comments faster.

Mobile tech and just tech in general. I'm kinda disappointed with the ones I'm using. Any suggestions?

Edit: news websites

At the time of writing Summit for Lemmy should be completely open source.

After a lot of contemplation I've decided to open source the app. There are still some changes that probably need to happen before it can be considered "FOSS" but this is a huge step I think.

As I'm voiced my opinions on this previously, the main repository for Summit will not be to the public for PRs. If you encounter bugs or have any feature requests please continue to send them through the proper channels (ideally to this community).

Enjoy~~

When Lemmy is updating, the server is obviously down. The app infinitely loads and it gives no context about what is happening. So I was wondering if it would be possible to get, maybe a screen or a popup, informing us why we can't use Lemmy. Something like that. What do you think?

I came across a Lemmy world post about maintenance in x time. Of course it was a different time zone from mine. Do you think it's possible in some way to have it automatically converted to my local zone?

What do you think about this?

The tesseract Lemmy app, has a little overview from mediabiasfactcheck.com (MBFC). It seems like a clever way to foster a healthy community.

If you click on the ranking you get details.

ranking details for CNN

So, I was reading the privacy notice and the terms of use and I did read some sketchy stuff about it (data used in advertising, getting keystroke). How bad is it? Is it like chatgpt or worse? Anything I can do about it?

I was just thinking that when I go to a community, the UI is kinda plain. Community info looks very good though. Do you we could get the:

  • Community name and "profile" photo
  • Community description
  • Subscribe button

On the frontpage of a community? Thanks!

Ps: I just noticed that when I'm using an (un) ordered list, pressing enter doesn't keep the formation and I have to select it again

Really big numbers appear as links on the app

It's on community info
