Do I understand conceptually that a recession would basically wiped me (and the entire lower class) out? Of course.

In the first season of Brooklyn 99, there is this weird plot line where Charles develops a crush on Rosa and she keeps telling him to back off. Likely done at the time to foil Peralta and Santiago's immature, pig tail pulling romantic arc, but anyone whose watched more than a season knows those two characters are totally wrong for each other.
Its a little funny because it doesn't come off as early writing weirdness. Charles was going through a really rough divorce at the time, and Rosa, while gruff, does deeply care about her friends (and him), and didnt want to slap him down. He later apologizes, and dates a few other women before settling in with a new LTR.
I don't consider myself much of a poet. I'm more of a prose writer. I had to write one for a class, and I was inspired by the works of Imiri Baraka, Adrienne Rich, and Juliana Spahr, I wrote about a protest I had been at.

Youve been so helpful over the last few months. Maybe someone can help me with this.
I have this butchers block countertop with an undermount sink. I had it installed 18 months ago. I sealed it, and then this part was being warped and forced apart. I put in wood block, I resealed it. But as you can see, its coming apart again.
I followed all the advice of the handy men I know, including the one that installed it. The only thing I can think of is, aside from reblocking and sealing it, maybe a line of silicon around where the faucet comes up, and around the lip where the sink is flush with hole its mounted in, both things they assured me wouldn't be necessary. Should I be concerned about a leak on the underside? Am I just hosed?
