We could be able to regulate traditional media, but regulating the flat earther, antivaxer, Christian fundamentalist on social media might prove to be a bit harder.

Keeping a mortgage is also used as a tax write off. So a lot of people who could afford to pay off their homes don't because of that as well.
They are doing away with pennies too. So they upgraded to taking ever nickel now. Next year, they will be coming for dimes.
The threat of the IRS coming to take what little you have is just too great. It's too bad they are not as aggressive with billionaires and multi-million dollar companies.
They kind of already do that. Not sawdust but just take a look at the list of ingredients in most of the food you buy. A lot of those ingredients are banned in most countries and pose health hazards for consumers, yet we still use them. We need not only tougher regulations, but to also properly fund the FDA so they can inspect properly. Of course companies lobby heavily against that, and with our current administration, there is a bigger chance they kill of the FDA than that happening.
That has changed with the systematic dismantling of our education system and the push against critical thinking that started in the Reagan Era. Nowadays people are for the most part, too darn stupid to hold these people accountable.
It's not just Delta. What we really need is tougher regulations to prevent this. Of course there is a snowballs chance in hell this will happen in this administration.
I don't need a lot of features others don't have. I started using it before it used chromium as a base and kind of just stuck with it. I do like the built in ad blocking and VPN, even though I have a stand alone vpn.
I live in the US. I'm sure I could order ot from somewhere but I doubt I could get it deveprd locally. Also like in the original post, it's eb3n hard to find a photo album these days. To me it has more value as a relic than actually taking pictures.

Trump is about to find out how wonderfully petty Brazil can be. Elon Musk found out earlier. They are also the 9th largest economy in the world, 5th largest country, the world leader in alternative fuels, and leader on the global south in food security. Also thanks to new agreements with China and EU they really need the US.
They also are the largest producers of sugar, beef, coffee and chocolate.
