Hillary got more votes in the primary. If you can’t win a primary, there’s no reason to cry about your chances in the general.
BadmanDan
I 100% agree. Dems don’t have to do this. Kamala literally gained more white support than Biden, Hillary and Obama 2012. Suburban White voters aren’t fleeing over trans stuff the way the media is trying to portray it.
But they’re winning the messaging battle.
Nope. White people could fix all of this now if they simply voted better. But we know they won’t. No Dem has managed to win the white vote since Civil Rights passed. White people literally turned on the Dems over social issues.
Now let me tell you why the Hispanic vote is at fault instead. Barack beat John McCain by 10M votes, the largest presidential victory in the 21st century, Dems gained 59 seats in the senate off of that election. They had a large majority in the house after that election. 2008 is seen as good as Dem can perform in the modern era.
And you wanna what percentage Obama got the white vote in 2008?
43%
Yes, Obama got damn near the same percentage of white voters as Kamala Harris. And Trump around the same as McCain. Both Obama and Harris had lopsided black support.
So where does that leave us? Kamala more white support than Obama 2012, Biden and Hilary (way more than Hillary surprisingly). Yet, she performed worse than both of them and way worse than Obama. How could this be? The answer is simple.
HISPANIC VOTERS SWUNG LIKE 40 PTS TO THE RIGHT! NO DEM CAN WIN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IF THE REPUBLICAN IS GETTING 46% OF THE HISPANIC VOTE!
Did you even read what you typed?
White people are republican’s BEST racial demographic and are essentially what keeps them competitive every election. And Harris managed to pull 42%, that’s very good for Democrat nationally in this era. In most elections, that would all but secure them the presidency.
But the big glaring issue is Trump pulling a massive 46% of the Hispanic vote. That’s the ball game right there. That Hispanic vote share for Trump nullified any blue wall Harris had with her existing white and black votes.
I’m not here to tell people who to vote for, I could care less after this country has already messed up big time allowing a 2nd Trump term. But you people who voted for Trump, have no one to blame, but themselves, and that includes the Hispanic vote. If you didn’t want to vote for Harris, then vote 3rd party or don’t vote at all. But giving Trump 46%, they are the absolute number 1 reason he’s in office right now.
You’d be surprised how much Ohions prefer this
Just a reminder. Male Latinos are literally the reason Trump is in office right now. Kamala had the black and white support to win, but make Latinos swung like 40 pts hard right.
Why can’t these people stop boring trump with stuff like “governance”. The man is 80, you think he wants to do his job. Just let the man golf in peace

Bucks.
That’s nothing compared to actually winning the white vote and almost winning the Hispanic vote
100% is marketing. Mamdani really isn’t doing any policies that progressive Dems at the local level haven’t already done or tried to do.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has damn near an identical policy position as Mamadani, but he’s not promoted by the mainstream media and pundits every week, so the public gives him hell. Holchul literally agreed to absorb NYC’s debt for the entire state to pay off to help Mamdani’s agenda breathe, and the far left still gives her hell, despite her not even having to do that for him.
Politics is deeply unserious today.
It’s almost like Biden got the most votes ever and 2024 was a red wave year. If Mamdani had ran in 2024, he prolly be less than 50%, still a win, but closer. Thats just how elections are. Candidates rarely overperform wave years against their party.
Kamala could run again in 2028, and with a strong Dem wave, could easily break Biden’s margins. It’s not that complicated.
China is doing worse than the west right now.
