Important context: White male 20something, big expensive sedan, Early 2000s YMMV.

On the highway in the Deep South United States. Pulled over for speeding. Police wanted to search the car. I refused, they called in a K9.

I was pulled to the side of the road and sat down in the grass while we waited for the dog. Bunch of other officers started rolling up and just hanging out expecting what I can only imagine to be the biggest bust in a while.

The K9 got a hit and they searched the entire car. They found a glass pipe buried in an old cigar box in the back of the car in a book bag. The cops were absolutely and completely confused. “There has to be more, the dog woulda never hit on this if there wasn’t more.” The cops kept searching.

I wasn’t handcuffed or anything, someone was just watching me. A pipe was a misdemeanor where I’m from, but jail time/probation where I was stopped.

After an hour of searching they found nothing else and handed me my pipe and box and told me to throw it in the woods and to leave. Wasn’t worth the paperwork.

“Reid Hoffman has a reality check for entrepreneurs: if you’re serious about starting a company, you should say goodbye to binge-watching your favorite Netflix show after dinner or sleeping in on the weekends—you need to be on the work grind all hours of the day.”

You’re clearly not committed to reading articles either. “It’s a headline, it must be about me. Let me make sure I share my opinion without reading the article!”

Opinions based on false perceptions when the truth is 20seconds of discovery away, is just willful and lazy ignorance. Thats not just a red flag, thats also red hat behavior. You can do better than that if you want to.

We can imagine the end of the world. We can imagine the collapse of society, but we can no longer imagine the end of capitalism.

Linux has some problems that I just can never find answers for.

#1. Can’t do 4k 340hz on my display port 1.4 cable. Even though I can on windows and Mac. In Linux the option is there with the nvidia driver, but the screen goes black anytime I try to use it. No solution.

#2. Ubiconnect won’t work with Ann 1800 even though it’s good on proton.db and others are reporting it works great, I was never ever able to get it working or find reliable steps to get it working.

It’s a needle in a haystack trying to find fixes for things like this. Linux offers a lot, but still doesn’t offer the most important thing ease of fixing problems quickly so you can just do what you want to do.

Run a game and work at the native resolution.

Cool ass logo. Very modern and more inline with Firefox’s style. It’s a Much improved design across the board.

Open license it and give it to the project. I’d love to be able to use this in the settings.

You’re entitled to your opinion. Is there anything else you’d like to say?

Your inability to deal with loss is what will inevitably hold you back. You chose to argue, and you lost. You won’t get a stomach ache from swallowing your pride, but you will isolate yourself to a sad echo chamber if you choose to block and sedate everyone and everything that hurts your feelings.

May you have a nice day as well. You should try not to take things so personally. If you'd like to learn how and when you use Abbreviations and Acronyms you can do so here: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/subject_specific_writing/journalism_and_journalistic_writing/ap_style.html

Acrynoms aren’t words. Your argument is moot.
