I think it's more making fun of the fact that they have to keep using it. I do agree it's great that they actually do have that power though.

I just found out literally with this post lmao

As someone with ADHD, the whole comic is me exactly. I'm never late to anything ever because I literally can't think of anything except the event until it happens, and I'm also super stressed about missing things so I always leave early.

How did you take a picture of my college dorm's microwave?

Absolutely! And did you notice the canynes actually have different features based on which element they are! I love seeing little details like that.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 just released and it's insanely good. As usual it's way too expensive as all AAA games are now, but I'm a sucker for Monster Hunter so I was going to pay no matter what. It's a lot more open than the previous games, which makes it feel a lot more interesting and the new gameplay sytems really play into that in a good way. It's also a lot of fun as a Monster Hunter fan seeing all the monsters they chose for the game. Some of their picks are very surprising!

I also picked up Dragon Quest Builders as it was recently on sale and I need to satisfy my extremely intense desire for Pokopia while not supporting Nintendo. I played through the second game a long time ago but I never played the first one until now. It's fun but you can definitely feel that this was their first attempt at this kind of thing. I'll probably replay the second game when I'm done with this one.

When I had this problem in the past it was actually other addons causing the problem. Do you have any other addons? If so, try disabling all your addons (except ublock) and checking if the problem is gone. If so then you can re-enable them one by one until you find the offender. For me it was actually an addon which shouldn't have affected YouTube or ads at all which was causing the problem.

If that doesn't work or you don't have any other addons, try going into the ublock settings (click the icon in your taskbar and then click the gears) and click restore to default settings at the bottom. If that still doesn't work then you might have to seek help elsewhere (the official support page is r/ublockorigin if you're okay with using reddit)

Toys "R" Us is a chain of toy stores which went bankrupt and shut down all US locations in 2018, although it has recently returned to the US as of 2022.

R is a statistics focused programming language which sees wide use in the field of data science.

The meme features characters from the cartoon "The Regular Show". In the first panel, all the characters are together, interestingly one character for each letter in Toys R Us. In the second panel, only the character representing the R remains, indicating the transition from childhood (toys) to adulthood (statistics). The science part of the meme is mostly just the statistical analysis reference.

That's certainly an interesting take. I loved the first game but DS2 blows it out of the water. It's pretty much a direct improvement in almost every way in my opinion. The only downgrade I think is the difficulty, but death stranding 1 had abysmal combat so I can easily forgive the game becoming easier while also becoming more fun.

I love how silly these games can be sometimes

And some game recommendations by me to add on to the post:

  • Taiji
    • A 2D puzzle game where you slowly unravel how to solve each different element of the puzzles, eventually culminating in a massive puzzle gauntlet. Basically identical in concept and execution to The Witness, but still very much its own unique and fun game.
  • The Golden Idol
    • A puzzle game where each level you must examine a scene to figure out exactly what happened, eventually piecing together the full story over several levels. Don't let the art style put you off, it's an incredibly well done game. Most similar to Return of the Obra Dinn in concept.
  • Stories: The Path of Destinies
    • an action RPG with a branching choice-driven storyline, but not every story has a happy ending... You'll piece together the true story over multiple playthroughs and eventually find the one true path. It wasn't a particularly life-changing game but it was still a lot of fun and worth checking out if it sounds interesting!
