So... Nothing

Holy fuck. Fox is now openly promoting invading a country for no other reason than Trump wants it.

Even among the endless stream of ignorant brain rot propaganda that Fox peddles, this is next level shit. I am absolutely astonished that their viewers can't manage to wake up from the cult for even a moment. Reality is crashing down in plain sight and they still can't escape the tunnel vision of Fox. There is no bottom to the conservative party, and no hope for the idiots eagerly empowering it.

The worst idiots are the ones who never admit when they're wrong. Having the backbone to admit an error, change, and and move on speaks volumes.

Dunno. But I have purchased the kind for music, back when I was in a band. Much better than the foam kind. They also attenuate sound evenly rather than the drill thinking of adults in a Charlie Brown Christmas special. Great for concerts.

"I'm an uninformed idiot."

Conservatives are fiscally reckless. Look at every conservative president's deficit spending, and economic crashes. Look at the states most dependent on federal funds.

Even if you had zero morals and voted 100% on fiscal policies, the best choice is very clearly not conservative.

Oh hey, we're holding your account for ransom, and conveniently doubling the price.

This woman is awesome.

Brought to you be the genius who paid $44 billion for a company and promptly halved the value. The same man who held his shareholders ransom for $56 billion.

Why anyone thinks a ruthless billionaire has any position in a service that is supposed to serve the people, is beyond me.

He is Franz Kafka. Franz Kafka!

TIL there is a cover song and director's cut of this sweet Rock Opera.

I doubt if he paid for it, or if it'll ever be driven.

Not sure is that person liked it hated Trump given the safety record of the vehicle...

From my perspective, the traditional way to acquire content from torrents and a VPN.

Everyone is talking about Superbox, which actually sounds pretty cool. How does it work? What's the catch? Can I setup another device to use the same apps without buying the box? If it gets shut down can I fire it up through a VPN?

I'm guessing they host content from another country and sell the hardware at a big profit. But I'd love to know a little more. There are hosting costs somewhere... Is the profit model just to outrun those costs through hardware sales?

Not so much looking to build a PC as buy one, because I'm lazy these days. My old one is forever old and filled with randomly upgraded parts and HDDs. I've also got an old and under performing NAS for Plex. Looking to turn my current PC into my new NAS, and buy a mini PC for my new rig. (I don't game on PC anymore).

The problem is, I want one(ish) large capacity drive on the mini PC. Not 100% tied to a mini PC, just like the idea of being minimalist on this rig.

Any suggestions? 2 monitors. Not much else special.

Maybe an external drive? Or drive bay? Speed isn't critical on the large capacity.

Thoughts?

I bought some hockey sticks recently. Free shipping over $300. UPS made me pay $50 on delivery for "Duties or taxes are due on this package." The seller did not list the potential expenses outside of what was paid, and said they have no control over this.

Has anyone else run into this (with anything)?

I have never paid duties as a direct fee for anything not purchased in an airport. Shipping was Canada to U.S.

This is a sidewalk grip where it ramps up from the street. I noticed that all of them have the same melt pattern. Low traffic area when no one was out.

Just curious if anyone knows why

I have a Naga Hex 2, which I really like. It recently lost sensitivity to horizontal movement. If I move the mouse slowly, the cursor doesn't move. Moving the mouse fairly quickly, however works fine. Vertically it works as expected as well. I've had something similar happen to other mice in the past (different computers, etc.)

Is this common? Is the mouse broken? Has this happened to anyone else?

I can't think of the words to bring back an answer in a search engine.

My havit KB395L died. It was cheapish, but great for me. I should have bought 3, because they don't make it anymore.

I bought a Red Dragon Horus (k618rgp-pro) with red switches as a replacement. The form factor is fine, and I like the wireless, but the keys feel mushy and I make typos constantly.

So, now I'm looking for something with:

  • Low Profile
  • Blue switches
  • Tactile (feel the bump on a key press)
  • Full size (I guess I could go ten keyless)
  • Backlight Bonus features:
  • Wireless
  • Hot swappable switches

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
