Heh, it's probably on me. I was just test driving it. I have no doubt I could have figured it out if I had spent more time.
It was just the HDMI audio from a standard Intel 14th gen processor. Didn't feel it was anything too out of the ordinary, but have tried about 6 releases over 3 distros and not a one has worked.
Well, if you're looking for an actual answer... I couldn't get audio working on Linux on my laptop. I had to switch back in order to watch movies.
So they're going to take in literal bullshit so they can spit out more bullshit? Fitting.
Oh I obviously understand that there are multiple (if not dozens of) maps, but how many times are you expected to play those maps over and over again? Without plot progression, I just don't find it interesting.
I don't play multiplayer games anymore.
First off, they always seem to enable the worst of game companies trying to financially ruin their players.
Second off, I'm in my 40s and my reaction time isn't what it was when I used to play UT or Quake. You can't improve an aged reaction time nearly as easily, yes, because it's gotten slightly worse with age, but also because you become less willing and / or able to dedicate the sheer volume of time that you would need to to improve. Getting repeatedly stomped isn't fun, and quite simply, I've got better and more important things to do.
Third off, I don't like the constant recycling of content that you see in multiplayer games. A handful of maps are expected to last you infinite plays. I like changes of scenery, storylines, and varied experiences. Doing the same thing over and over again is just boring.
Fourth off, player communities in some games are aggressively dogshit and I really don't want to interact with them at all.
Economist here. This is pretty much the anti-intellectualism that everyone here is talking about and this is the opinion I've seen constantly on Lemmy.
Most people have no idea what it is that I do and think it's something to do with making billionaires more money. It isn't and it never has been and it hasn't been for anyone that I've kept in contact with from any of my classes.
You don't have to be involved in financial matters to be an economist either. We're more involved in finding out root causes and impacts in certain fields.
I hear the renter is obsessed with tacky gold bullshit as well.
Just make their middle name Duck and you are golden.
My wife and I watched this last week. It very much felt like something that Meow Wolf would put on. The story sort of falls apart about three quarters of the way through though and it winds up going nowhere which was unfortunate.
Number 7 would allow the province to stack a court with internally politically motivated individuals instead of remaining impartial. Basically you would let Danielle Smith stack the court to do whatever she wanted instead of having to run it by people that would keep her in check.
Number 8 may not be bad if you don't have a completely biased small group picking and choosing what they pass whenever they feel like it. There would be no way for us to know until they built the new system, but I'm betting it wouldn't be good. Yes they could make it better, but from everything I've seen this group is not interested in making things better for normal people.
