It's because it has that "80/20" energy some like to push. Not so much a complaint on dating overall, only the "women only one six feet, six figures, six inches" narrative.

You have to also look at the fact that men outnumber women on the app overall. It's about 65% men, so women are going to have a bigger pool to reject from. And while it is true that women rate men less attractive, they also put less value on their apperence overall as a factor in dating. It also came out that this was based off of first glance only with no review of the profiles attached to them and, when looking at overall trends, it's more even, (outside of men tending to like young women regardless of their age).

I think the okcupid data also went on about how certain races get more or less attention as well. At the end of the day, both sides can be picky. I think people like to push that data to help with the "80/20" idea to help push this idea that men are now being unfairly judged in comparison to women to help with the gender war narrative.

Edit: Just wanted to add that I don't think that means dating isn't hard for men, but I just don't believe dating websites to be a reflection of real life.

Thank you for doing so.

A lot of people still see HIV/Aids as a lgbtq or POC only disease. If it's going to help the "right" people suffer, they'll call it a win.

Kunitsu-Gami. Never heard of it before, never even saw an add, just popped up on the storefront one day. I fucking loved that game.

Also, PSP. My friend at the time was able to "adjust" it and I love/loved it.

For someone known to stick his rancid, cheese dick in people both with and without their concent, you'd think he'd want that department around.

Things that betray trust are very hard for me to let go. Theft, backstabbing, lies, etc. If I can't trust you, I can't hang out with you.

And romcom with a male lead finding love, but the manic pixie is fat and unattractive. She'll go from quirky to annoying stalker real quick.

This was a few years back, before I knew this was even possible, but a portable hard drive off of Amazon. Not only was it sharp on all edges, it was only programed to show the storage without actually having it. I spent an evening "moving" docs from a dying laptop, only to plug it in the next day two find a fraction of what I thought I moved over.

Also, a yoga mat that disintegrated when I went to do a plank. Just pressing my hands into it was enough for it to flake apart.

As someone who gets mistaken for a man: Yes. I clear my throat, shuffle my feet, make some kind of noise. If it's a headphone wearer, I'm either going to slow down to make space or give them a wide berth if it can't be avoided.

He's doing everything he promised to do and then some. But don't worry, the outcome would have been the same regardless of who we voted for, remember?

I randomly got this in the mail. It's seems to be a collection of like, snippets and poems and what have you. Not mad at it, just curious.

Posting another photo of the inside.

I was scrolling and saw this video of people dancing, showing different moves throughout the years, including recent ones. I know people "dance," like, generally move to a beat, but, like, having moves and stuff, where do you do that? Is the idea to ease the moves into your own dance "repertoire?" As in, do you expect to see people milly rock, like unprompted?

This past weekend, my laptop decided it's had enough and has given me the blue screen of death. I've put it in recovery mode, tried to reinstall windows, the works, and it refuses. I have no idea why. I was logged on, looking something up, and it went kaput. I wasn't downloading anything, the computer was in it's sleeve prior, not too wet, cold, hot, etc. Battery is fine, the laptop it's self is maybe two years old.

My understanding is that Linux is a kind of system that you download the components to a USB or what not and then install it on your machine. Is that something I could do in this case? Or do I need to take it somewhere?

Edit: it seems I may have to check if it's a hardware problem. The error code is Bad_system_config_info, but it changed to something else at one point but I didn't write that one down. :(

They put out this shelf and I want it, but I don't want to seem strange? It would make a nice plant shelf, but it's not something I can scurry away with, so people would see me while I carried it. Is that a bad thing to do?

EDIT: Never mind. Someone beat me to it. 😭

I took this picture through my mosquito netting and I thought it turned out neat.
