Holy shit is it the dude who wrote Foundation of geopolitics ?

It is! Here’s his plan for the west from the wiki page on the book

When you read this Krasnov really starts making sense

[–] CheeseNoodle@lemmy.world 17 points 3 days ago (1 children)

iirc there's also a section about seperating the UK from Europe.

[–] ieatpwns@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago

Definitely, the wiki has sections for every part of the world. And the book even more so

And why Estonia got blamed for killing his daughter. Dugin is such a Germanophile.

[–] iAvicenna@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

and who also said "Trumpists and followers of Trump will understand much better what Russia is, who Putin is, and the motivation of our politics" lol what a joke

My parents think I'm corrupted by left wing thought because I watch CNN

Except, I don't and CNN is fascist news for people who want to pretend they're better because they aren't watching Fox.

This is one of those funny things about right-wingers. They often insist that people who don't agree with them watch CNN because of how they get their news is from Fox or OAN. They get their opinions spoon-fed to them so they think that's how everybody does.

[–] Quill7513@slrpnk.net 8 points 3 days ago

it's why they think the left also treat politics as sports. they can't imagine thinking of politics as anything other than rooting for your team and hoping they win even if you think the quarterback is shitty.

they're locked into their way of doing things because they don't have the imagination to consider the possibility that there are other ways. when we explain that there are other ways, they think we argue the same way they do. without the conviction to believe better things are possible. they assume we're just saying whatever our quarterback is saying, just like they are.

it's all a ceremony to them. a bunch of pomp and circumstance

Reminder that CNN always sucked but was purchased by right-wing nutjobs for the singular purpose of foisting even more rightwing bullshit onto the media landscape because

Propaganda works. Every time.

Dugin is a hell of a lot more of a shitbag than just a genocide cheerleader

[–] Quill7513@slrpnk.net 11 points 3 days ago (1 children)

genocide architect. genocide planner. genocide father.

[–] Angry_Autist@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago

There are few people alive more worthy of eternal hellfire

Well genocide is already happening in Ukraine.

Putin’s army is stealing children and murdering civilians and wiping out culture.

[–] MrMakabar@slrpnk.net 8 points 2 days ago

His book is used to train Russian officers.

The CNN's descent into irrelevancy continues.

He's not just an ultra nationalist, he is the mind behind the whole operation that was going on the past 20 years that brought us here.

He's the project 2025 guy of russia

[–] cronenthal@discuss.tchncs.de 12 points 3 days ago

Wow, this is low even for a US network.

[–] nesc@lemmy.cafe 5 points 3 days ago

Trumpists and followers of Trump will understand much better what Russia is, who Putin is, and the motivation of our politics

@Sunshine And off course the ideologue thinks #Trump is a good guy

[–] InvertedParallax@lemm.ee -3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

CNN gives airtime to Russian.

I don't know why you had to add all that redundant detail?

[–] Quill7513@slrpnk.net 8 points 3 days ago (1 children)

i get your joke and where you're coming from, but this is beyond "your typical russian involved in the uppwr levels of society is a shitbag" this is russia's stephen miller or steve bannon. this shitbag is the shitbag who planned all this. this is the shitbag who in the late 90s came up with a plan for how russia could get back to the glory days of the czars and stalin and the plan was to plunge the entire world into fascist genocide. he's more than a mouth piece for putin. he influences putin. he's putin's ideas guy.

[–] InvertedParallax@lemm.ee 5 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

No, I get it's dugin.

But that's a bit like saying 'a racist nazi'.

Russians are the enemy of much of the world at this point.

Whats terrifying is as an American, they've recruited the same filth from our south.
