Absolutely zero idea why something like this would catch on fire. None at all. A complete mystery.
Those are low power phone lines. And by the look, amazingly well strung. God knows what the safety was on the power lines feeding the amps (or whatever) looked like.
I had always thought this was an existing tower repurposed for them new fangled phone lines. Neat!
