Personally: I don't trust them to make a laptop, so I definitely don't trust them to make an ebike.

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:
Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.
Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.
Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.
Fully agreed. Every Acer laptop I've had or been issued by an employer has been a POS and usually underperforms everything else in its market segment. Now Acer think people will be willing to trust their lives to a company that doesn't normally build bikes?! Hard pass.
Would they ask me to update my driver when i couldn't brake well?
No, they just want you to subscribe to Norton Antivirus or McAffee or some bullshit.
I really wanted it to be an RGB e-bike and now I'm disappointed. It's annoying on my laptop but I bet it would be great for visibility on an e-bike.
Looks similar to the Juiced Ripracer, which is a phenomenal ebike for city use, particularly if you have a small apartment. The smaller battery and weird saddle kinda make this one less attractive, but there's definitely a market for small, BMX-y ebikes. Mine could easily fit behind my (440 Sqft apartment) door
