Remember: Germany is still in the process of forming a government. I hope once that is done we will react a bit faster on the events going on right now. Won't get my hopes up too much with the CDU in power, but at least in regards to Ukraine they were on the good side so far (arguably more so than the SPD).

CDU are mostly on the right side, but not completely. Some idiots hope for βpeaceβ to buy Russian gas again.
Well being on the right side is much easier when you're in the opposition can say anything you want without any repercussions or responsibility
The SPD is currently in the process of forming a coalition with the CDU. Pistorius the Defence Minister is very likely to keep his position. Also the German Bundestag(one of the two chambers of the German parliament) has to vote for sending German soldiers on peacekeeping missions.
In other words there are a lot of potential repercussions and at least the SPD will be held responsible.
Do it!!! C'mon Germany. You owe Ukraine!
........you know why.
We basically owe all of Europe, that would sort of cancel itself out
C'mon man. I'm trying to round up some support for you guys. Just let it happen.
I am German, that's what I mean with owing
Oh, My mistake. I thought you were Ukrainian. My comment doesn't make sense if the context is that you're German.
I think olaf is not interrested in a peace deal in ukraine.
