Based on the tattoos visible through the shirt I’m inclined to say yes?

In 2024, Pete Hegseth said concerns over his Jerusalem cross tattoo and the symbol's ties to extremists caused the District of Columbia National Guard to pull him from a mission to guard the inauguration of President Joe Biden and helped spur him to retire from the military.[21][22] According to fact-checker Snopes: "Two of Hegseth's Christian-based tattoos [the Jerusalem Cross and the Deus valt tattoo] use symbology that has become associated with — but doesn't necessarily indicate adherence to — Christian nationalist views. Historically, both tattoos have connections to the Crusades, a series of wars in which Christian armies sought to reclaim the Holy Land from Muslim rule in the 11th-13th centuries."

Even if they’re not, that shit is too close to Edward Norton in American History X for my comfort level.

Appears to be yeah. A New Years Eve party where they had a "D(r)unk Tank" filled with champagne.

It's pretty old though. All the way back in . . . 2023.

Pete Hegseth, nominated by President Donald Trump for Secretary of Defense, is undergoing increased examination concerning his previous actions following the reappearance of a video from Fox News' All American New Year Live in 2023. In the footage, Hegseth, 44, is shown sipping champagne straight from the bottle and submerging himself in a tank allegedlyfilled with alcohol during the live transmission from Nashville.

Honestly, I'm both glad and horrified that this is a real image.

At least generative models aren't yet good enough to place his stupid fucking tattoos under his transparent shirt to make it easier to identify him.

In current times, every week is a wrong week to quit drinking.
