I was always amazed by how utterly stupid an organism can be. And that thing survives somehow in nature.

There is some, as @lnxtx@feddit.nl pointed out, but they are very different to the domesticated guinea pig.

Isn't that kind of like saying "poodles are extinct in the wild", when there were never wild poodles in the first place?
