It doesn’t actually do anything, but it gives you a fleeting sense of control while the system takes you where it wants.

nope. believe it or not, people can do lots of things instead of just one thing.

not doing one of the only things with at least a non-zero potential for affect is idiocy.

Sure, people can do actual political action while pressing placebo buttons. Your suggestion that voting on which member of the ruling class will rule over you oppress you is important continues to be a nonsensical statement.
