Shame. I liked him as a character, thought he spoke a fair bit of shit on times, but the real beauty was getting an unfiltered answer every single time - a rarity these days.

I loved EJ as a pundit, chatted a load of absolute bollocks and then most of it turned out to be true!

Damn, RIP. He was a great character in F1, he'll be missed.

Bloody hell. I hope he went out with a bang, he was a one man whirlwind. Miss you already Eddie

I didn't realize his condition, I just casually tuned in and DC had different people on and mentioned Eddie recovering. Hope everyone can get together and mourn, sounds like there's endless stories to tell.

RIP Eddie. Always enjoyed his commentary and unfiltered take on F1 as a whole. He was there with BBC when I first got into the sport.

RIP Eddie. One of F1s great characters. Always loved his passion, enthusiasm and zest for the sport.

https://youtube.com/@f1forsuccess a lot of juicy behind-the-scenes info given out by him on his podcast with David Coulthard.

R.I.P.

Thatโ€™s heartbreaking. A part of my F1 universe is forever gone.
