I knew it was going to be brutal for the rookies, but man that sucks for Hadjar. I doubt it'll be the last rookie crashing out.

If the rain hadn't hit the track it could have worked out for ferrari - to be fair Lewis was on the bad end of some bad Merc calls last season so hes probably used to it.
Looks like Ferrari and Redbull have a bit of catup to do. Antonelli did well.

So many drivers don't do that, and we saw with Ricciardo how it can end..
Reflecting on the incident, having returned to the paddock on Friday night with his arm in a cast after a check-up in the local hospital, Ricciardo commented: โI remember coming into Turn 3. I had already gotten into the corner and then saw Piastri, so it was either hit him or the wall.
โWhen I hit the wall, I didnโt have enough time to take my hands off the steering wheel, so the wheel came and hit my hand.โ
"Hold position until you clear the backmarkers" is actually a fair demand imo
