So by adding "enrichment" to the torture program they're preventing the harmful effects of being tortured for years? As opposed to just stopping the torture program?

Yeah like, they could just...not do solitary confinement. Or prisons for that matter if we really want to get into it.

"I run the orphan crushing machine at work" "Why is there an orphan crushing machine?"

I agree that solitary confinement is torture, but at least according to the article, this drastically cuts down on the length of time that people are put in solitary confinement, so harm reduction. It also appears to help them get out of prison sooner and handle things better when they get out.

The guardian is not a reliable source of truth, the article above is essentially sponsored content. Do you have additional sources to back up those claims on harm reduction?

Can you list the news and information outlets that you consider as reliable sources of truth? I doubt that there have been studies about this.

This sounds like how you invent a new mental illness

How long until they put ads in it? Eye tracking has been described as the holy grail for advertising, and there's nothing like using prisoners as a literally captive audience.
