Don't worry about the dog, kid. Dogs rarely live past their teens. A cat can live into its third decade. You might have to compete with the cat for your college money.
Better start washing dad's car on the weekends, to stay ahead.

It should be noted that when you make reports, it is your responsibility to provide rational reasoning why something should be removed. Saying it simply breaks community rules is not always good enough.
Note: This is not a rule, but a helpful suggestion.
When posting images, you should strive to add alt-text for screen readers to use to describe the image you're posting:
Another helpful thing to do is to provide a transcription of the text in your images, as well as brief descriptions of what's going on. (example)

Or just eat more mice
Hey, and save dad on grocery bills at the same time! Brilliant!
My cat is 15 and still very healthy and zipping around like she's a decade younger. My dog is less than half her age and I've already spent 3k in vet bills on her over the last six months lol.
Yeah, that's just a sad fact of the species. Although, small dogs can last pretty long. My mom has a 12 y/o poodle - lap-size, whatever those are called. He's blind, and has to wear diapers because he can't control his bowels or bladder, but he can still jump up onto her lap for snuggles. Still, I can barely survive losing cats; if I had to lose a dog every decade, I think I'd give up myself.
Some dogs are just rare oddities. I had a black lab make it to 18 it seemed purely out of spite for how bad it's younger years had been.
Probably helped that I was willing to carry it out to the grass and sit with her for like half an hour while she got the strength to go to the bathroom.
That's true love.
I mentioned to my friend something about not waiting to continue life after these two pass. My friend rolled up to my house recently, and long story short, I now have two cats
That's sweet!
We've always had 2-3 cats at any given time, but we're stupid and we keep adopting them when they're nearly the same age. So when they start dying, it's like blow after blow, year after year. We really should space them out better, but they seem to get along better when they're similar ages. Adopting from the same litter is the best, but then you're almost guaranteed to lose both around the same time.
Great. Now I'm depressed.
I mean if you wanna chow down on those garage mice, you go right ahead dad, you donβt need my permission. Bone apple tea and all that shit.
