I think mW/m^2 at 1 meter per mW
should be very close to cd/lm
(lm/m^2 at 1 meter per lm
) for a white SST20 in the same optic. Output for an SST20-DR is a bit more than 1mW/mA
drive current.
A Convoy S2+/SST20-DR on high should deliver about 30000 mW/m^2 from a distance of 1 meter on high, based on its reflector delivering about 10 cd/lm with a white SST20. Divided by 10000 cm^2 / m^2, we get 3 mW/cm^2. Half a meter would get you 12, which is a little more than the 8 used in the study.
The C01R, you'd probably have to stick in your eye. Please note this comment is not medical advice. Somebody check my guesses and math here, please.
