wasn't aware anyone else used fuck off as a unit of measure.

[–] Onionguy@lemm.ee 23 points 1 year ago

Named after russian physicist and engineer Talim Yukan Fokkov, the unit of measurement received swift and widespread recognition all over the scientific community.

Fokkov was often said to be exclaiming it when asked for the specific amount of sugar he put in his famous potash cake. "It's a Fuckoff amount, that enogh for you? Now leave me be."

Fokkov died in 1980 in a tragic accident, eyewitnesses described as "a fuckoff ginormous energy beam suddenly bursting from the sky, popping all the corn in Iowah."

Couldn't you just use a big mirror and lens?

Seems like using a panel and microwave transmitter would be inefficient.
