Welcome to the News community!

Rules:

1. Be civil

Attack the argument, not the person. No racism/sexism/bigotry. Good faith argumentation only. This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban. Do not respond to rule-breaking content; report it and move on.

2. All posts should contain a source (url) that is as reliable and unbiased as possible and must only contain one link.

Obvious biased sources will be removed at the mods’ discretion. Supporting links can be added in comments or posted separately but not to the post body. Sources may be checked for reliability using Wikipedia, MBFC, AdFontes, GroundNews, etc.

3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.

Only approved bots, which follow the guidelines for bots set by the instance, are allowed.

4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source. Clickbait titles may be removed.

Posts which titles don’t match the source may be removed. If the site changed their headline, we may ask you to update the post title. Clickbait titles use hyperbolic language and do not accurately describe the article content. When necessary, post titles may be edited, clearly marked with [brackets], but may never be used to editorialize or comment on the content.

5. Only recent news is allowed.

Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.

6. All posts must be news articles.

No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials, videos, blogs, press releases, or celebrity gossip will be allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis. Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.

7. No duplicate posts.

If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.

9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.

All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.

10. Don't copy entire article in your post body

For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

I assume he'll be getting the Presidential Medal of Freedom for that.

How about apologizing for the atrocious and abusive treatment of children at your Donda Academy school, you colossal piece of shit? I would only recommend reading about that if you have a strong stomach because it sure as fuck turned mine. It's not quite Elan.school level of horrific, but it's up there.

But at least he admits being a Nazi!

[–] frunch@lemmy.world 22 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Just watch, he's gonna start this trend for the right wing

[–] NotSteve_@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 year ago

Idk, Elon's stealing his "Nazi swag" already

[–] samus12345@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago

Already makes him better than Elon.

[–] snekerpimp@lemmy.world 36 points 1 year ago

“Nazi spews nazi vitriol on nazi platform” - fify

[–] carl_dungeon@lemmy.world 27 points 1 year ago

I’m sure Elon gave him an extra blue check for that

At this point, Kanye has been a black nazi and failed politician longer than he was a relevant artist.

[–] catloaf@lemm.ee 8 points 1 year ago

No, but it gets clicks, and therefore ad views.

[–] Mozes@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 year ago

Ha he's trying so hard to be

[–] rabber@lemmy.ca -1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

He's quite literally one of the most famous people alive so yes

[–] eddanja@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

I guess so. I forgot he existed until this article.

[–] brezel@piefed.social 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Idk, in europe not many people seem to give a shit about this dude.

[–] rabber@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

I doubt that. Where in europe? Slavic regions he was insanely popular.

[–] madjo@feddit.nl 15 points 1 year ago (1 children)

More reason to put him in the ignore box. He’s not important enough to be worried about.

He clearly does this purely for attention. And it works. Same with him parading his wife around practically naked. It’s all for attention. Best not to give it to him.

[–] MothmanDelorian@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Bianca Censori was walking around almost naked before she met Kayne.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

People keep telling me that NazYe is some kind of musical genius - I've never really listened to any of his work, so I don't really know. I have a vague notion of who he is, but mostly remember how he had his jackass outburst aimed at Beck, and that told me a lot about his character way back then.

But it does take a very special kind of stupid not to realize that this guy would have been one of the very first being targeted by the Nazis. If this guy imagines that he could align himself with Nazis and get to be someone punching down on Jews, that might last all of a second...does he really not know anything about the history of Nazi Germany?

[–] conditional_soup@lemm.ee 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Everybody thinks they're deeper in the in-group than they really are.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Yup. There are a lot of deluded people out there. Kind of like Caitlyn Jenner, too....

[–] MothmanDelorian@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Ironically had she remained closted these Nazis would be celebrating her as the ideal white man due to her legendary status with a chunk of Gen X and older.

[–] moon@lemmy.ml 11 points 1 year ago

Everything about this is disgusting, but I do find it interesting that one of his grievances is that Elon 'stole his Nazi swag.' I.e. that he was a Nazi innovator and Elon is terribly unoriginal in all his Nazi behaviour

[–] tabularasa@lemmy.ca 11 points 1 year ago

Stop talking about this nobody, moron, piece of shit.

I wanna know if he auditioned for this part, or auditioned for Django, and someone had to tell him that they had "a different idea" for him, lol

[–] TsarVul@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

Fuckin' hell, imagine seeing your dad do this. I'm generally not all that sympathetic to the plight of rich kids, but man do I hope that North doesn't get affected by this in any irreversible way.

[–] umbrella@lemmy.ml 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

kanye's case is actually sadder than infuriating because his problem is untreated mental illness.

get him to take his meds and take him away from the fucking horrible toxic people hes around and he will come around.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children)

When talking about the likes of NazYe and Fetterman, I wonder if there are cases where someone is struck with mental illness (or goes off their meds) and suddenly become better when it comes to the moral plane?

It's weird how often mental illness makes someone behave like a Republican and embrace people like donvict...

[–] TheFinn@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 1 year ago

I doubt it. There are way more error states than there are good states.

[–] umbrella@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

maybe he had some of it in him, not ruling that out. im just saying the propaganda they put out might be especially bad for unmedicated illness.

who is fedderman?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

who is fedderman?

/facepalm

Sorry, John Fetterman. (Also fixed up there)

[–] umbrella@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago

what did he do? i can tell he is a us liberal turned conservative, who says hes depressed but i don't see the connection, depression doesnt cause belief in conspiracy or persecution paranoia. sounds like hes just kind of a dick?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

Well, he certainly won't have to apologize on xitter, since it's owned by fElon.

[–] Lootboblin@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

Kanye is real life Clayton Bigsby.

[–] f4f4f4f4f4f4f4f4@sopuli.xyz 3 points 1 year ago

"We know. You never apologize for anything; not news."

[–] Zerlyna@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Is he still a thing?

[–] borax451@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Who? Never heard of him but he seems an asshole unworthy of attention.

He looks like he's wearing a barbers bib.

[–] spooky2092@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Why does anyone care what NazYe has to say?

[–] Sho@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Hahahahaha...NazYe...man I hope that sticks. Good one 👍
