Tbf, german humor and german anger are hard to distinguish by people who aren't used to both.

I'm actually impressed you created that one 2 years ago, I assumed you just did it for this joke.
We Germans have a very good humor actually we wrote the book aboud it. A whole compendium. Thousands of pages. The most comprehensive work you'll find. It's just not a funny book.
I can picture this very German explanation of what humour is. A technical manual on it and how to be funny, and yet not a single "lol" was had in the reading
German humour is no laughing matter.
You don’t get a “vroom” from reading a car manual, either.

His response kinda confirms it was exactly what it looked like:

Yeah, it's not like the Germans would have any special insight into Hitler and not invoke him lightly.

It was not. The mask is all the way off now.

Yeah, I mean, it's obviously trolling to begin with. What he did is undeniably similar to the nazi salute, yet he dismisses that fact without even slightly addressing it. It's intentionally lazy, and trying to conflate less-apt Hitler comparisons with an incredibly applicable one. Because he knows this approach will work for his intended audience, and he gets to chuckle to himself about being untouchable.
News from today; german prosecutor is investigating against the guys who projected this on the Teslafactory for showing illegal Nazi symbolics. So: for german prosecutors it definitely was a Nazi salute.
So this will be added as a right wing crime in the logs? Got it

You call it what it was, a Nazi salute.
Because if he cries defamation and wants to sue, stand there in court and give the judge the finger. The judge shoukd either accept that hand gestures have commonly accepted meanings or endure the whole case while you give everyone the finger. Probably make a few wanking motions with your hand for good measure...

I don't think anyone who considers their self decent should be using xitter anymore. They just normalise the acceptability.
I think that is strange as well, the fact that this happened is important in my opinion. That's why I shared it. The video is great.

Damn, there are comments defending Musk, saying that Tesla are the safest or that Europe is dead because of leftists.

German police started investigating the activists for showing "Verwendens von Kennzeichen verfassungswidriger Organisationen" (I will roughly translate this to "usage of unconstitutional symbols") . Are they serious, like showing images of Musk doing this is unlawful?
