I'm in the opposite position now. I see a bunch of memes about vans and have no idea what is going on. Is it JD Vance again? Did he fuck a van too? What happened?

I'm not American and I genuinely had no idea who JD Vance was until a few days ago

I keep reading DJ Vance and immediately file the news story under entertainment.

JD Vance? Vice President pick for Donald Trump. He said something like he was one among "men who enjoy their sofas more than their wives", and then it became a meme to joke about what way he enjoyed sofas. And since he has been such a target for memes, I just assumed it could be him.

Learned about Biden dropping out from the memes

I play a game and that was a nomenclature like a year before his drop out. It is hilarious to hear it outside of the game.

That's usually how I find out that prominent people have died

People unironically form opinions based off memes and then when you call people out for a misleading meme they hide behind "its just a meme". Nah its not just a meme you are posting this to try and influence people.
