I'm in the opposite position now. I see a bunch of memes about vans and have no idea what is going on. Is it JD Vance again? Did he fuck a van too? What happened?
I'm not American and I genuinely had no idea who JD Vance was until a few days ago
I keep reading DJ Vance and immediately file the news story under entertainment.

JD Vance? Vice President pick for Donald Trump. He said something like he was one among "men who enjoy their sofas more than their wives", and then it became a meme to joke about what way he enjoyed sofas. And since he has been such a target for memes, I just assumed it could be him.
