I hate this. I need to stop eating chips whenever I get home from work, so I didn't buy any. Then I get home from work and I don't have any chips to eat and dinner isn't soon enoughπ©

Try eating an apple.
I curve my craving for chips by eating a raw potato.
I've got a cracked screen so it looked like you said "try renting an apple", I almost cackled
In this economy?
Apple phone leasing product placement is getting weird
Maybe when they have nacho cheese flavored apples ππ
Sadly that's when I make worse decisions. I end up finding out I have oats or cocoa powder and I'm making some excuse to make cookies or a cake lol
Or eating a bowl of dry oats with cocoa powder on top.
I ended up making chocolate brownies after that last comment, I didnt have cupcake liners, milk, eggs, or chocolate chips... But they'll be fine haha

At least you are practicing a skill
Get White cheddar rice cakes. Are they chips? No. Do they satisfy the craving? No. But are they with eating anyway? Also no.
Eating rice cakes is like getting a handjob from the wind.
I won't have you tarnish the name of wind. Yes, her handjobs are nothing to write home but nobody blows like the wind.
They are delicious, too bad the ones with toppings have very unhealthy ingredients. (Chips aren't much healthier lol) I usually get the cakes made from corn, with a very slight pinch of salt. But these packs are gonna be consumed from top to bottom so yeahπ«
What would you consider an unhealthy ingredient?
If you say the word chemicals, I'm going to mail you my chemistry 101 book :-P
I buy those round gluten free things. I start eating them and they taste so bland the need goes away
Don't buy chips, buy good food to snack on.
Apples and cheese makes a great snack. Even quality peanut butter is better than ultra processed chips.
I've stocked up for Halloween three times already.
Is that restocks, impulse shopping, or the annual plan (like mine)
Yes
Yes

Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, various nuts and other baked legumes are decent alternatives for chips.
There are all rice chips, root chips, pea chips, and so forth.
Nothing, however, can replace real chips...
Just be careful, because nuts are pretty calorie dense.
Popcorn is a good option for when your brain just wants to shovel food in your mouth.
pickles, cucumbers, carrots, peppers. nice and crunchy, basically zero cal, they take some time to eat (unlike nuts that you can pop by the handful).
but yeah for shovelling, dry popcorn is a good option
Yeah, I used to get nuts, but I go through them quickly, easily eating more calories at a faster rate than if I get grabbed some Cheetos^(tm).
Now, I air-pop my own popcorn. The additional effort is a helpful chance to ask myself if I really want to snack, and a full half cap of kernels (which is a lot of popped corn) and as much EVOO as I care to dose it with is still a lot fewer calories than I would get from nuts, and it takes longer to eat.
You wanna get nuts?!
The last sentence is all you needed.
We are the architects of our own destruction...
Try to have some fruit on hand!
I would also recommend some bananas.

I can feel this meme through the screen.
To the gas station!
This is a post about weed

Snackers lament
I stopped that bc it made me obsess about snacks and binge when they were in front of me.
If itβs always there itβs less stress and easier to practice moderation π
It's the opposite for me, but my sleeping meds make me ravenously hungry.
I made popcorn, on the stove, I was that desperate
Holy shit. That's me π€£
Couldnβt be me. I have an entire apartment to store snacks in
I'm gonna lose so much weight once I don't have a teen in the house. The snacks. It's like the ring. Every moment is a moment of avoiding being cheeky with a little snack
My air popper burnt out on Sunday. I only had three other ways to make popcorn it was scary for a minute
This sums up every weekend for me. Usually I end up snacking on an old package of cheese.
